At B&E our goal is to offer clients a complete drilling and blasting service. B&E owns and operates a modern, well maintained fleet of drill rigs and versatile pneumatic compressors.

The pneumatic and hydraulic crawler drill rigs have a hole diameter capacity of between 89mm to 127mm. These machines are suitable to undertake civil engineering, construction and quarrying operations. The high pressure DTH (down the hole) crawler drill rigs offer blast hole diameters of up to 172mm, and are suited to larger quarries and opencast mining projects. With this fleet of versatile drilling machines the company can undertake large contracts at short notice.

Blasting services and operations include blast design, blasted rock to the client's specification, vibration monitoring, laser profiling and bore-tracking. These services are manned by well trained, experienced employees which include civil engineers, mechanical engineers, blasting and explosive technicians as well as highly trained and experienced operators and explosive handlers. Where rock breaking via non-explosive means is required any one of a number of excavators, equipped with hydraulic hammers, can be quickly deployed.

B&E is equipped to assess and carry out customised drilling services, particularly where there may be a requirement to out-source this difficult operation.
